How did you get into adoption law?
I worked 10 years in the Criminal Division at the County Attorney’s Office and wanted a good change. The job came open in the Adoptions for the County Attorney’s Office and I applied and fell in love with working with the families during their adoption.

Anything else people should know about you?
I speak Spanish. I am a native Tucsonan and my family has been in Arizona since the late 1800’s, before Arizona became a state. I am married and have three children ages 27, 18 and 14. I also have two grandchildren ages 8 and 6. I volunteer at my children’s and grandchildren’s school. For fun I travel with my 14-year-old daughter to many of her dance competitions.
