The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) recently revealed a new brand identity to better educate and spread awareness about both the adoption and assisted reproduction family-building processes. With a new look and new website, AAAA has combined two previously separate organizations — the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA) and the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology (AARTA) — into one to bring the best information and resources to all parties in these matters.

As a Fellow of AAAA, attorney Heather Strickland is excited for the change and the new opportunities it will bring those interested in adoption and ART.

“Thanks to my Fellowship status with AAAA for more than four years, my clients have access to a host of resources that help me guide them in making the most educated and best decisions for their adoption, foster care, or assisted reproductive journey,” said Heather. “AAAA’s new web presence, rebrand and merger is an exciting next step for this internationally recognized organization.”

Heather is one of AAAA’s 470 attorneys, law professors and judges recognized as Fellows, and she has been a member of AAAA since 2014. Admission to AAAA is a selective process that requires no less than five years of legal practice, at least 50 adoption or assisted reproductive technology proceedings, a referral for admission by a current AAAA member, and rigorous review for high ethical standards and competency by the board of directors.

Attorney Heather Strickland is proud to be a member of this new unified organization, an advantage she can offer to any of her clients interested in adoption or assisted reproductive technology in Arizona.

You can check out AAAA’s new logo and website at adoptionART.org, where you’ll also find helpful resources and content for families, donors, surrogates, birth and adoptive parents in adoption and assisted reproduction law.
